Summer and Fall of 2024
Just a reminder that the lake will be let down in November 2024 and the valve will be closed to let the lake back up around the first of February 2025. This is the time to make improvements to your dock, sea wall, or even address the lake bottom at your property. You must notify the board in writing before doing any work on the lake association property, that includes work to your dock. Typically, all the board needs is a simple plan, from the lake member.
NEW BOAT MOTOR AND SIZE CHANGES– as of 07/01/2024
New to the lake boats are to be no larger than 19 FEET (BOW or RUNABOUT) or 24 FEET Pontoon or Tri-toon and the NEW MAX HP is 90 HP. Vessels that were registered prior to 07/01/2024 that exceed the new sizes are grandfathered in and as long as the owner remains in good standing with dues and boat registration.
Just a reminder that the lake rules are published on this site, and we should also adhere to SC Boating safety as well. ie. children need to be in lifejackets if in a small boat, canoe, kayak, or stand up board.
Note from the lake board.
Hello Neighbors,
It is an exciting time on our lake, and you may see a little more activity on the lake and maybe even some new faces enjoying a good time. The board is task with enforcing and upholding the rules of the lake but the board is not a police force, if you see someone violating the rules in or around the lake, please use the contact us button below. Please note the sticker number on the boat if a boat is involved and please describe what you saw and why you believe it needs to be addressed and it will be handled in a quick and efficient matter.
Want to be part of the Lake Patrol? Let the board know, any member can be a part of the patrol.
Stickers do not necessarily have to be replaced every year, typically they are good for several years before the association changes the colors.
IF SAFETY OR LIVES ARE IN DANGER – PLEASE CONTACT BOARD ASAP or CONTACT THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES.
We will also be providing contact information for all property owners along with the addresses of the properties that are rented short term. If you encounter an issue, please contact the owner directly and they should be able to contact the guest of the lake and quickly remedy any situation.
Emails may take several days for us to respond and we have removed personal email addresses due to several phishing scams being attempted on the board members by outside sources.
